Location
Located in a 19 acre Cove on the Kinondo stretch of beach, this area is unspoilt and isolated from tourism. The Cove Retreat remains fully forested with baobab Trees on the beach. Wildlife including Dik Dik's and Colobus Monkeys roam and bird life including Walnut Vultures and Fish Eagles is abundant.

Facilities
The Cove Retreat Tree Houses: 6 set amongst the Baobab trees along the beach frontage with 180 degree sea views. Infinity pool, recessed Asali restaurant and bar. Water actvities, community led, including African Kayak, outrigger, ocean reef walks. Reflexology and aromatherapy massages. Diving, deep sea fishing and traditional watersports by arrangement.

Accommodation
6 Tree Houses located on The Cove beach front.

Each Tree House has an Arabian four poster, spa whirlpool and panoramic sea views. Bedrooms are airconditioned and have Full Bar, water dispenser and safe. A large open plan lounge, relaxation area, and dining area on the 85 square meter Tree House.

Each Tree House has been designed using only what nature has given.

Butler service allows for meals in your Tree House or romantic dinners on the beach, twice weekly communal dinners for Tree House guests fusing Arabian and Swahili Cuisine.

Extras:
The Cove is a focal point for all local fishermen thus guaranteeing fresh fish which can be chosen by you. Take a Nglau outrigger to the reef. Kinondo dive and snorkeling sites are among the best in Kenya, known for Whale Sharks and Dolphins. Enjoy walks through the surrounding Cove's and beaches. With our community project, enjoy a Village walk to Kinondo Village where time has stood still with age old traditions in practice. Visit the Kaya forest, a National Museum heritage site and enjoy a naturalists walk through the local mangrove forest systems.
