 Hear
the hiss and the pop of the hot, hot, African grassblade
as it swirls against your feet, walking in the valley.
Climb the hill to the horizon and gaze downward
across the panorama below.
Then retire back to the Tree House, nestling
quietly on the slopes of the hill surrounding Sable Valley,
and gently, lie back into the svelte smoothness of your cushions
on the verandah, ponderous in thought, supreme in satisfaction.
